Artist Statement
In my artworks I strive to create multiple layers of line shape and colour until the surface feels balanced interesting and exciting.
I draw my inspiration form the world around me, man made structures and mother nature provide great starting points for my work.
Abstracted forms, geometric shapes and expressionistic figures are recurring subject matter.
The addition of fractured lines and collage are a recent and emerging interest.
The combination of colour and texture is also important part of my creative process.
